Hey friends! I’m Amber, and if you’re wondering how you ended up with this email—don’t worry, you signed up for it at some point over the last few years! Maybe through my shop, The Primrose Corner (where I used to sell stickers and stationery with my illustrations), or from the newsletter link on my Instagram. Either way, I’m so glad you’re here!
It’s been a minute!
Last summer, I hit pause on my online shop, sold off most of my stock, and then made a huge international move—from the middle of nowhere in Fort Irwin, California, all the way to Bavaria, Germany. It’s been a whirlwind, but even with all the change, I’ve been busy behind the scenes—creating new art, diving into exciting projects, and getting lost in all my cozy, crafty hobbies.
I’d love to catch you up on what I’ve been working on—here’s a little peek at what’s happening!
I have a new Distribution Partner!
If you love my art style and miss getting stickers from my little artist business then I have great news! You can now find my designs at Lauren Phelps Designs. I am updating there with new stickers and have just started releasing some previously sold out favorites from my shop. I just released a new travel themed collection, finished the monthly birth flower girls sticker sheets and re-released the very popular Coffee Break collection!
I’m creating Digital Downloads for Patreon!
Through all of the chaos of the last summer I have managed to keep my Patreon up and running but we have switched to a digital rewards system! Each month I illustrate for a theme that we all vote on and then upload the files for all of the art that all of my patrons can download and use. Some of my favorite art has been created as a result of my Patreon. If you are already a patreon member thank you so much for being part of our little cozy club!
This month our theme is romantic academia and it is *chef’s kiss.
I have a new website!
Same name (theprimrosecorner.com) new look! I’ve now updated my website to host my online portfolio. With links to my Patreon, Youtube videos, Instagram and a Contact Page.
I’m working towards getting a Children’s Book published!
This may or may not be surprising news but I have written and illustrated a Children’s Book! I really love the concept and the artwork for it and I am about to start reaching out to literary agents. I have been working really hard behind the scenes getting my portfolio updated and a dummy book created for this purpose. I am so excited!
I moved my newsletter to Substack.
I moved over to substack (now called Primrose Pages) because it’s free and I really have fallen in love with how they have things setup. I plan on sending out a newsletter once per week (or less) and if you’re into it, I’d love to have you! If not I totally understand and please feel free to unsubscribe. I hope we cross paths again sometime in the future.
